The "Voice of the Black Boy" addresses the needs of African-American male students through engaging texts, building their creative writing fluency, and providing a safe place to express their creativity within a community of mutual understanding.
In this session, participants will learn how to develop a plan for school-wide professional development to support the Theory of Action. We will share ideas for full staff PD, PLC work, and one-on-one coaching cycles that can take place over a five week cycle.
