Building Greatness: Morale, Methodology, and Momentum
For her book series, Deliberate Teaching Practices, Brooke Cushwa uses several research-based strategies to deepen professional development, including incremental, granular improvements; self-reflection; increasing personal power and ownership; and celebrating successes. This workshop will help teachers and leaders to utilize more reflective practices and two-way dialogue to encourage leadership, morale, momentum, and methodology both for themselves and other educators.

Structured Teaching is a system for organizing their environments, developing appropriate activities, and helping people with autism understand what is expected of them. Structured Teaching addresses challenging behaviors in a proactive manner by creating appropriate and meaningful environments that reduce the stress, anxiety and frustration which may be experienced by children with autism.
