Classroom Creation
The physical classroom environment is an often under-utilized aspect of our instruction and classroom management. Using research-based strategies from her book series, Deliberate Teaching Practices: Classroom Creation Guide, Brooke Cushwa helps teachers reflect on their practices surrounding all aspects of the classroom including desk arrangements, wall space, organization, and decor. By the end of this workshop, teachers will have prepared a classroom environment for students that is values-driven, organized, effective, and engaging.
